Korea Dance Abroad
코리아댄스어브로드(Korea Dance Abroad)는 2014년에 설립된 비영리 단체로, 한국 무용의 독창성과 우수성을 전 세계에 알리고, 한국 무용가들의 해외 진출을 적극 지원하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 다양한 국가의 무용 축제 및 예술 기관들과 협력하여 공동 제작, 투어, 워크숍 등을 통해 국제적 교류를 강화하고 있으며, 이를 통해 한국 무용가들이 글로벌 무대에서 활발히 활동할 수 있는 기회를 마련하고 있다.
주요 활동으로는 미국 뉴저지의 Bergen PAC과 뉴욕 한국문화원의 협업으로 진행된 'Korea Dance Awakening 2014', 뉴욕 92Y 하크네스 댄스센터와 함께한 'Dancing Korea 2015', 아시아 아티스트들을 소개한 'Big Mouth: Pan-Asia Dance Festival 2017', 불가리아에서 개최된 'Korea Dance Marathon 2019' 등이 있다. 또한 서울에서 진행된 'Seoul-Down 2018'과 헝가리 베틀렌 스퀘어 극장과의 파트너십으로 시작된 'Monotanz Seoul'도 대표적인 프로젝트다.
Korea Dance Abroad (KDA) is a nonprofit organization founded by Sin Ae Park in 2014, dedicated to supporting Korean dance artists and introducing them to international audiences. KDA showcases unique and outstanding works of Korean dance globally, promoting international collaboration and cultural exchange. By partnering with dance festivals and arts organizations worldwide, KDA provides opportunities for Korea dance artists to engage in co-productions, tours, and workshops, fostering their growth and visibility on the global stage.
